The science behind Regenerative Medicine allows the body to self-heal and repair within its natural capacity. It enhances the body’s natural process of regenerating and replacing human cells and tissues. Traditionally, diseases are commonly treated with prescription medicine, painkillers, and surgery.
To realize this noble mission with vast potential in the medical field, Cell Tissue Technology Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia’s FIRST Tissue Engineering Firm endorsed by Malaysia Book of Records 2016, has established the most ambitious regenerative program in the nation, coupling biology, clinical science, and engineering – RegenMed by Cell Tissue.
RegenMed by Cell Tissue aims to target diseases without causing severe adverse effects, unlike conventional treatments. Success in our mission will impact patients’ lives, bring economic benefits, serve to train the next generation of researchers, and advance the expertise of our faculty in the basic sciences, engineering, and clinical sciences.
Be it Autologous (from patient to patient) or Allogeneic (from donor to patient), our TEHS technology provides a better alternative to gold standard of skin transplantation, Split Skin Grafting (SSG), by covering the open wound due to severe burns, traumatic injuries or chronic non-healing wound ulcers.

Established in 2010, Cell Tissue is a Malaysian advanced medical technologybased company, a spin-off of the National University of Malaysia (UKM), one of the country’s leading universities and research institutes.
Cell Tissue is known as Malaysia’s FIRST Tissue Engineering Firm, awarded by the prestigious Malaysian Book of Records in 2016, operated in a certified Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) laboratory following PIC/S standards by the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA), a division of the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
