Cell Tissue Technology (CTT) is a Malaysian-based advanced medical technology company, a spin-off of the National University of Malaysia (UKM), one of the country’s leading universities and research institutes. Our products and services focus on a whole new niche in advanced medical technology, encompassing tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and cellular research.
Tissue Engineering is an emerging multidisciplinary field that is expected to revolutionize the way we improve and enhance the health and quality of life of people worldwide. CTT aspires to become a corporate body with its own capacity to generate new discoveries, technologies, and knowledge through a range of research and study projects. The discipline of Tissue Engineering or Regenerative Medicine is seen as an emerging multidisciplinary field that is expected to revolutionize the way we improve and enhance the health and quality of life of people worldwide through the restoration, maintenance, and enhancement of tissues and organ functions.
EVER since our conception as a company in 2010, we have been in a focused effort towards the betterment of public and societal health; providing ingenious solutions to chronic, non-healing medical problems. Our company caters to these needs based on our proprietary Tissue Engineering technology, using the aforementioned technology to treat problems such as chronic ulcers, major skin loss, and severe burns, among others. Through years of research and development, focusing on regenerative medicine, we have now achieved a revolutionary pinnacle of technology capable of delivering living, cell-based products to accelerate the body’s own natural healing processes and enhance the human body’s capability to inherently repair and regenerate itself.

Dr. IDZU is a medical doctor, biomedical innovator, certified aesthetician, and young aspiring medical technopreneur. He was appointed as the CEO and later the Managing Director of a medical-based UKM spin-off company, Cell Tissue, a pioneer in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. Cell Tissue provides solutions to medical problems, focusing on skin loss. His strong sense of passion in this industry stems from working as a medical doctor, where he has witnessed a lot of cases involving major skin loss or non-healing wounds where the patient will be in extreme pain either due to the wound itself or treatment.
More than his role as an M.D., Dr. IDZU spent years innovating new technologies in aesthetic medicine and wound management whilst expanding Cell Tissue. As a result, he was awarded MEGAGist Award. In addition, he earned the “Transformer of Excellence – Among the top 1% of over 1500 ventures in 54 countries” recognition by the U.S. Department of State directly under President Barrack Obama’s administration. Also, due to his outstanding leadership showcase, he has been awarded the “Leadership Excellence in Stem Cells & Tissue Engineering” during the Global Leadership Awards 2019 organized by The Leaders International, a highly profiled business magazine and endorsed by the American Leadership Development Association (ALDA).
Driven by his dedication to contributing to the nation, he continues to work hard to grow Cell Tissue. Cell Tissue also offers cosmetic products testing or validation, advanced wound care and personalized aesthetic solutions through its wellness centre. Dr. IDZU is all-set to drive the mission of establishing Malaysia’s first Tissue Engineering Firm and Hub for the South East Asian region towards a better future for medicine.
